Among Liberia's diverse ethnic tapestries, the Kru stand out as a prominent group. They are primarily located along the south-eastern coast, historically known for their remarkable aptitude as seafarers who navigated extensively along the West African shores.
Our nation formally acknowledges sixteen distinct indigenous ethnic groups, each contributing a unique language, historical narrative, and set of customs to the national identity. This feature aims to provide an overview of the Kru people within this broader cultural framework.
